More about my story/ background
I have always had a strong interest in spiritual, psychic and personal development. It wasn't until after I left school and happened to find the mind, body spirit section in a book shop that I realised that I could really study and practice these subjects properly. That was in about 1986, and in the late 80s I started studying anything I could find on this, including learning and using self hypnosis from books. As a child I instinctively believed in the power of the mind to affect our reality, and years later I started to read about this in books, starting with the Seth books, (a series of advanced books in metaphysics), which are my favourite and then other books about manifestation and The Law of Attraction. I also learnt about the mind-body connection in the 90s and have had personal experiences of that with my mind creating symptoms that just couldn't be coincidence, and using visualisation and other ways to create rapid healing.
In the early 90s I went through an extremely stressful time with anxiety, depression and OCD but I didn't want to take any medication as I instinctively knew that wasn't the answer and I helped myself by using what I knew, and when I began meditating during that time that helped me immensely and so I recovered.
Throughout the 90s and early 2000s I took many courses at the College of Psychic Studies in London, in healing, psychic development and meditation and I have been a member of various development and healing groups.
In 2005 I started to formally train as a therapist, and over the years I have gained a number of qualifications. I am continuously updating and expanding my knowledge and skills with training and in-depth study.
