What is Emotional Freedom Techniques - EFT?

Emotional Freedon Techniques - EFT, or EFT Tapping as it is sometimes called, is a highly effective and powerful set of processes for resolving emotional, psychological, and physical problems gently and effectively.

EFT Tapping is based on impressive new discoveries regarding the body's subtle energy system and its connection with our mind, emotions, and mental and phsyical health. It has proven clinically effective in thousands of cases for a very wide variety of emotional, psychological and physical issues, often working when nothing else seems to.

It is often said that EFT is like an emotional or psychological form of acupuncture without the needles.

Using EFT Tapping, many issues can be resolved quite quickly, while some issues can be much more complex and take more time to resolve the deeper aspect involved. The tapping can be used in the moment to let go of a negative emotion, and it can also be used for deep transformative work over a longer period, especially when working with an experienced EFT practitioner.

How does EFT work?

EFT involves tapping with the fingertips on a sequence of acupuncture points, which are end points of the body’s energy meridians, while talking to stay focused on particular aspects of the issue to be resolved. The tapping balances the body's energy system, releasing blockages which are linked to negative emotions or discomfort, and the roots of dis-ease within the body. Tapping to shift energy changes the way the mind processes information about a particular issue, so tapping while tuned into the issue is like rewiring the brain’s negative response.

As well as using EFT with you during a session and I will teach you how you can use it for yourself between sessions. The basic tapping process can be easily learnt quickly so that you have a self help tool that you can use on yourself at any time. You can work through many issues on your own when you know how to use it effectively, however for deeper, more complex, or traumatic issues it’s usually best to work with an experienced EFT practitioner.

What can EFT be used for?

EFT can be applied effectively to almost any emotional, psychological or physical issue, such as anxiety issues, fears, phobias, addictions, weight loss, any type of emotional distress, traumatic memories, PTSD, and physical pain or aliments.

It is also highly effective for personal achievement and supporting you to move forward in your life to get the life you truely want, releasing any blocks that stand in the way of your full potential.

Just like the other therapies use, EFT can be done online as well as face to face.
