With my tailored anxiety treatment plan I aim not just to help you manage your symptoms, but to get to the root of what’s causing your anxiety and to create lasting positive changes in your mindset and emotional well-being.

What is Anxiety?

Anxiety can be defined as a feeling of unease, fear or worry which can range from mild to severe. It arises when in your mind you perceive something that you are faced with as a threat in some way, which sets off the fear responses in your brain (fight, flight, freeze) although that threat that your mind perceives might not always be obvious to you at the time.

Symptoms of Anxiety

There are many ways that people can experience anxiety, mentally, emotionally and physically. Anxiety symptoms that you may experience can include:

  • Feeling “on edge”
  • A sense of dread
  • Excessive worrying
  • Irritability
  • Restlessness
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Muscle tension
  • Sweating
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Sleeping difficulties
  • Fatigue

If you have been suffering from anxiety for a long time you may have developed a digestive issue such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and this cam also be helped with anxiety treatment.

Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

Hypnotherapy has been proven to be highly effective for dealing with anxiety issues. Hypnosis can be wonderfully relaxing and can help you to reduce feelings and symptoms of anxiety and stress, and help you to take back control of your life. Hypnotherapy can help you to overcome fears and worries, change negative thought patterns and behaviours, and help you to feel calm, more empowered and in control.

When combined with other techniques that I use such as NLP, EFT and Time Line Therapy (a powerful NLP technique) the effectiveness and benefits are enhanced.
